Lecturer, programme manager, researcher and journalist at the media initiative World between the Lines
Peter Ivanič is a lecturer, programme manager, researcher and journalist at the media initiative World between the Lines. He studied political science at Comenius University in Bratislava and historical sociology at Charles University in Prague. He has a long-standing cooperation with the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University and other academic institutions in Slovakia and abroad. He specialises in global and development journalism and ethics, covering various development issues, including sustainable development, climate change and human rights. In his approach, he tries to combine journalism with the analytical foundations of sociology to give the audience a more complete and comprehensive picture of the world around us. He has published several scholarly works, including academic articles and university textbooks, as well as global journalism-oriented web resources
