Mariia graduated with a Master’s degree in Philology from Chernivtsi National University. With the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she joined the volunteer team and started evacuating civilians, providing temporary shelter to more than 1,756 people, helping people with limited mobility with food and personal care products and providing psychological support. In June 2022, Maria and her team began to equip the “Grow Up” Center for Social Support. Now in this center, children and young people have the opportunity to receive social and legal support, read interesting books, and develop in various fields. Our mission is to build a democratic and inclusive society through community development.
