Head of the Charitable Organisation Relief Coordination Center (RCC)
Yevhen graduated with a Master’s degree in Philology from the Kharkiv Humanitarian University „People’s Ukrainian Academy“. With the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he became a volunteer and started evacuating civilians, assisting people with reduced mobility with food and personal hygiene products. In April 2022, Yevhen founded the chatitable organisation called Eventroom that later on launched a comprehensive project titled Relief Coordination Center, which subsequently became a separate organisation to lead on the coordination of local actors engaged in evacuation, distribution of humanitarian aid, assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and local charity centers. In 2023, RCC expanded its activities to cover also Zaporizhzhia oblast in south of Ukraine.
